Blank Park Zoo has graciously extended an invitation to all MACNA 2011 attendees for free admittance, September 8 thru September 12, 2011. Simply show your MACNA registration at the gate for entrance.

Blank Park Zoo has been a part of the Des Moines metro community since 1963. Along with the Zoo’s many animal exhibits, it also has an aquarium with reef display. The Zoo will be open every day from 10am-5pm during those dates.

One of the goals of the 2011 MACNA is to get the next generation involved in reef keeping.   In accordance with this goal, MACNA 2011 will be working with Central Campus in Des Moines to give attendees tours of their unique marine biology program and facilities.
